Practice areas include health care, insurance defense and subrogation, transportation including aviation and railroad matters, condemnation, construction, real estate, personal injury, oil and gas, personal injury and products liability, estate planning and tax law.
A substantial portion of the firm’s practice falls on the defense side of the docket. Attorneys have extensive experience in defending personal injury, products liability, claims under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, workers compensation, construction disputes, railroad accidents, Federal Employers Liability Act, toxic tort, premises liability, medical malpractice, employment and discrimination, public housing and industrial litigation. In its subrogation practice, the firm works on the plaintiff’s side of the docket, in representing some of the world’s largest commercial and industrial insurers.
Through the years, the firm has offered young lawyers a mentoring program that helps them grow quickly into seasoned litigators. Ten attorneys have been with Brown Dean since their respective graduations from law school.
